Curriculum

We teach the National Curriculum which includes English, Maths, Science, Information and Communication Technology, Design Technology, History, Geography, Music, Physical Education, Art, Religious Education, Personal, Social and Health Education and as of this year, Spanish.

Wherever possible, most subjects are taught in an integrated way through themes relevant to children’s experience.

Our Reception children follow The Foundation Stage curriculum which covers Personal, social and emotional development, Communication, language and literacy, Mathematical development, Knowledge and understanding of the world, Physical development and Creative development. These areas then feed in to the first level of the National Curriculum.
